The MP-20 is strongly inspired by the successful TN87 blade which was an absolute milestone in the history of Mizuno. This is how the company gained worldwide attention - not only on tour. With the MP-20, Mizuno starts where their success with irons started. The topline has been significantly reduced compared to its predecessor and that doesn't exactly give players more confidence in the address position. Let's be clear: The Mizuno MP-20 is a blade that is only suitable for players who know how to handle it.
The Mizuno MP-20 is forged from soft steel using the proven Grain Flow process and covered with a copper layer. This provides a softer feel at the moment of impact. The nickel-chrome finish provides the noble look. The finish absorbs sunlight very well and does not dazzle the player.
You can order the Mizuno MP-20 from us in various configurations and choose from a variety of shafts of the following brands: Dynamic Gold, Project X, KBS and Nippon. Because the MP-20 is forged from soft steel we are able to change lie and loft any time. You can also be sure that the clubs are perfectly matched. This service is of course free of charge for you.
As the long irons of the MP-20 are not easy to play for everyone we offer you the possibility to build your own Mizuno mixing set. You can replace the long irons with the MP-20 HMB or the MP-20 MMC which are much easier to play. Mizuno has already matched the MP-20 series so that you can easily replace single irons. Iron Set from 5-PW, irons 4 and 3 available as well.

If there is one manufacturer who can make individual configurations possible and at the same time produce clubs in large quantities, then it is Mizuno. Mizuno takes a special approach to manufacturing. The clubheads are centrally produced in large quantities in Japan and then exported. For European players the heads reach Scotland where they are assembled in the desired configuration. Other manufacturers have entire clubs manufactured and assembled in China, for example. This way is of course cheap, but at the expense of individuality. Mizuno avoids this problem completely by assembling the clubs individually. You can choose between dozens of shafts and grips and have your irons adjusted in terms of loft and lie.
Mizuno therefore manages the balancing act between industrial mass production and individuality. This is exactly what makes this manufacturer so special. And since we at ExactGolf also have the vision to provide our customers with the club in exactly the configurations they want, Mizuno fits very well with us.
You can put together your Mizuno clubs exactly the way you want. We will also be happy to help you choose the right shaft for you, whether we need to make loft and lie adjustments, etc. There are almost no limits to what you can do with Mizuno and Mizuno does not charge extra for special shafts or grips.
There is only one issue that you have to cut back on and that is the swing weight for especially short or long shafts. If you choose a club that is over 1/2 inch longer or shorter then the swing weight will not fit properly with Mizuno. Mizuno cannot adjust the weight sufficiently in its manufacturing process, e.g. by taking weight from the club head. This is a process we go through with Miura irons to get the correct swing weight. So if you need a club with much shorter or longer shafts and you want to have the correct swing weight (and you should!) then you should contact us to discuss the matter.
