The Honma GS Series fairway wood is designed for maximum ball speeds and increased launch. In addition, the centre of gravity is closer to the hosel, so that a draw tends to be preferred. This makes it much more difficult to hit a slice.
The Honma GS are designed for ladies and seniors with especially soft and light 42g shafts. In combination with the matching club heads, this actually makes the game a lot easier.
The GS fairway wood has a particularly light crown. This allows more weight to be packed into the sole of the club head. This improves the launch conditions. The speed slot technology also ensures high ball speeds. Both together make it easier to hit greens even from long distances.
The GS series ladies fairway wood is available in 16.5°, 18° and 21° as wood 3, 5 and 7.
