Compared to its unofficial predecessor, the XP1, Honma has dug deeper into its bag of tricks to maximise performance. On the one hand, it is possible to adjust the swing weight by changing only one weight screw. If, for example, you want a shorter shaft or a midsize grip, the swing weight can be corrected again with the help of a heavier screw. You can order the Honma weight set separately for this.
Apart from that, the "Non Rotating System" makes it possible to change the loft and clubface of the GS driver without twisting the shaft. This patented system is unique and is also used in the Honma TR20 Driver.
The GS Driver is already designed for maximum ball speed and an optimised launch. This is made possible by a special construction method in which as much weight as possible is built into the sole and at the same time a maximum of weight is saved in the crown. The slot technology in the sole also ensures increased ball speeds.
The Honma GS Driver is available in 9.5°, 10.5° and 11.5° - each with SpeedTuned 55 Regular or Stiff shaft.
Please note that although the Honma GS series was developed in Japan, production does not take place in Japan. However, we consider the performance and price-performance ratio to be very good, which is why Honma GS clubs are also offered on ExactGolf.
