The new Mizuno Pro 223 iron will be available from February 2022. It is the successor of the Mizuno MP20 MMC iron - the "Multi Material Concept" from Mizuno. The new design is very appealing and you see much less of this "Multi Material Concept". Also the logo is now worldwide identical to the actual Japanese logo and the lettering "Mizuno Pro" adorns the iron.

The new 223 is slightly smaller than the MMC and has a relatively small club head despite all the technology. In contrast to the 221, the 223 provides significantly more ball speed and offers the player a little more support in this respect. Nevertheless, the 223 provides a controlled and rather low to mid launch. In terms of launch, the 225 offers significantly more support. It is best suited for players who want a sporty head with little offset, but don't hit the ball consistently enough to play a blade.

The new Mizuno Pro 223 iron - available to order from ExactGolf from February. As usual in all imaginable and exactly fitting configurations.

About Mizuno

There are two things that make Mizuno so special: First, the manufacturing process of their clubheads itself. And secondly the fact that all iron sets are individually assembled in Europe. This enables Mizuno to produce clubheads in large quantities and still in high quality. And to assemble all imaginable configurations exactly according to the customer's wishes. Therefore you can configure your new irons as you like on ExactGolf. You can choose from dozens of shafts and grips and can also choose shaft length, loft and lie. However, the production time is only 14 days.

This makes Mizuno a perfect match for ExactGolf. We have made it our business to offer you all clubs in exactly the right configuration. Mizuno is of course a Japanese manufacturer who pays extremely close attention to quality and only allows very small manufacturing tolerances. The clubheads are manufactured in Hiroshima, Japan using the Grain Flow process. This process avoids air inclusions in the steel. Depending on the variant, the club heads are classically forged.

All imaginable shafts from Dynamic Gold, Project X, Nippon, KBS, etc. are available. You are also free to choose the shaft length, but there is one thing to keep in mind: Mizuno cannot perfectly adjust the swing weight in its manufacturing process if the shafts are to be longer or shorter than 1/2 inch. For example if you order a shaft 1 inch longer you have to expect a heavy swing weight. This can only be avoided by taking weight from the club head. We take this effort for example with our Miura irons. Unfortunately Mizuno does not. If you are looking for an unusually long or short shaft, please contact us to discuss your options.
