Miura CB-801 Irons Lefthand only

Regular price €2.303,00

The latest version of the Miura CB-801 is out of stock but we can still build sets with the old version (see images).

As a left-hander you are not exactly spoiled in terms of choice when you want to play Japanese clubs. Honma is still quite well positioned in this respect. With smaller manufacturers like Miura, the selection is already much more manageable. Currently there is only one iron that is made for left-handers - but only for left-handers and that is the CB-801. Fortunately it is a very good and classic cavity back iron. The origins of this iron come from the famous Tournament Blade which was also available in left-handed versions. Miura's goal was to make this iron much easier to play and more forgiving. The CB-801 is very similar to the new CB-301, both visually and in regards to playability. The CB-801 is therefore a good choice for average to good players who appreciate the advantages of a cavity back.

What makes the CB-801 so special is the now very well known Y-Grind from Miura. This grind provides the most realistic feedback of the ground contact without losing too much forgivability. The CB-801 is also an iron that is very traditional in terms of loft. The PW stops at 47° so that the gap to the common wedges remains manageable.

The standard iron set of the CB-801 goes from iron 4 to PW.
