On ExactGolf you have the possibility to put together your own personal Miura set. For all newer Miura models such as MB-101, MC-501, CB-301, TC-201, IC-601 and the two left-handed versions CB-801 and TB-901 we have the possibility to purchase single heads. This allows us to put together sets as we like.
The question you have to ask yourself is, of course, to what extent this makes sense. Combo sets are becoming more and more popular, because you can get the most out of each iron. Basically every player demands a little more forgiveness with longer irons. These irons must always be a little easier to play than short ones. Therefore a combo set of TC-201 for long irons and MB-101 for short irons makes sense for professionals and advanced amateurs. Only a few can actually play blades with long irons. Other combinations are for example the following:
Miura CB-301 with MC-501: The 301 is a very forgiving cavity back with a good amount of offset. It looks classic, but is very easy to play, which is why it is especially suitable for long irons. This can be wonderfully combined with the blade feeling of an MC-501 in the short irons.
Miura IC-601 and CB-301: The 601 has a lot of technology that makes it easier to play, especially with long clubs. However, it does not necessarily look classic and has a very wide sole. Not everyone wants wide soles with short irons. In this case, a CB-301 is the ideal choice.
CB-801 and TB-901: For left-handers Miura also offers a very interesting combination. The 801 as cavity back iron for long irons and the 901 as blade version for short irons.
These four combinations are only examples that definitely make sense. However, there are no limits to your imagination.
