Mizuno JPX921 SEL

It took Mizuno four years to make the successful JPX Tour model finally available for left-handed players. The pressure was simply too much, because all lefties wanted to enjoy the success of the JPX Tour. With the new JPX921 Mizuno introduces a mixed set of Forged and Tour that makes perfect sense. Because both irons are perfectly matched in the new series. The Forged has a slightly larger club head and above all a larger sweetspot. It develops a slightly higher launch and more ball speed. Therefore it makes most sense to use it in the long irons. The irons for which you need a little more support.
For the shorter irons from #6 upwards, the popular JPX921 Tour model is used - which, as mentioned, is available for the first time in a left-handed version. We would also recommend such a set for right-handed players and it is simply perfectly matched. You don't have to worry about different loft and offset - you won't notice the difference at all with this mixed set.
The Forged 5 iron has 26° loft and 0.126 offset, while the Tour 6 iron has 30° loft and 0.118 offset. So the transition is absolutely smooth and no adjustments in loft or lie are necessary. The offset does not make a big leap either. Above all, you will gain more control and forgiveness with the long forged irons - without having any real disadvantages.
For us, the combo set of JPX921 Forged and Tour is one of the hottest sets for lefties. It is suitable for players who have a certain sportive demand but also don't want to do without a certain forgiveness. Especially with the long irons these players make their life much easier.
